ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA
- Candidate must have passed their 10+2(sr. secondary education) with minimum 50% marks with PCB (physics, chemistry, and biology) from any recognized board.
- Admission: – Admission will be on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance exam (NEET).
- NEET Cut off (2020): – For General Category: – 147 marks, For reserved category: – 113 marks.
UNIVERSITY INFORMATION
Poltava Ukrainian Medical and Dental Academy moved to the city of Poltava in 1967 and it was renamed as the Poltava State Medical University (PSMU).In 1992, a Faculty for international students was founded to improve the quality of Medical training of foreign citizens for MBBS in Ukraine. For MBBS in Ukraine, in this university there is total number of 938 international students from 42 different countries which includes India, Morocco, Algeria, Jordan, Libya, Russia, Turkmenistan etc. Because of its low death rate during surgery in 1994, the university received the sixth-highest accreditation level and was renamed Poltava State Medical University (PSMU). As of 2004, it had a level-IV accreditation. This university is been recognized by WHO, MCI, Medical Council of Nepal, -MED School, PMDC, European Universities Association and lot of other countries. For MBBS in Ukraine, the university have trained specialists in six various faculties and a preparatory department. These specialists are trained in toxicology, pediatrics (six years each), oral surgery, pharmacology (five years each), nursing (two to three years), and orthopedic dentistry (two years). The university has prepared and released more than one generation of doctors of various specialties into the vast world of medicine During the long path of development and formation. It also has made significant contributions to the development of both science and practical healthcare. More than a generation of the student’s graduates had studied at this university throughout its hundred-year-old history. Each and every one of them increased the fame of their Alma Mater with scientific and practical achievements. And from that point, the first specialized Higher Education Institution for the training of dental professionals was destined for a long life, full of hard work. Currently, the university has more than 5,000 students, including 1,350 foreign citizens from 45 different countries. The university is the outpost of the academy for MBBS in Ukraine.
