ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA

  • Candidate must have passed their 10+2(sr. secondary education) with minimum 50% marks with PCB (physics, chemistry, and biology) from any recognized board.
  • Admission: – Admission will be on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance exam (NEET).
  • NEET Cut off (2020): – For General Category: – 147 marks, For reserved category: – 113 marks.

Manipal College of medical Science (MCOMS) was established in the year 1994 and was inaugurated in the year 1998 with the main aim to provide best education to students studying MBBS in Nepal. It is one the recognized university to pursue MBBS in Nepal.

The Manipal College of medical Science (MCOMS) is associated with the 750-bed Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara and is affiliated with Kathmandu University and has been known to enroll around 245 students in each batch for the MBBS qualification Nepal. Manipal College of medical Science (MCOMS) is recognized by the Medical Council of Nepal and various other nations and is also recognized by FAIMER and WHO. Manipal College of medical Science (MCOMS) is self-financed and offers free-ship seats to thirty Nepali students. 20% MBBS seats are reserved for the candidates nominated by the Government of Nepal with whom Manipal College of medical Science (MCOMS) doesn’t charge any fees.

Furthermore, Manipal College of medical Science (MCOMS) also provides partial and full scholarships to the deserving candidates of SAARC and other International MBBS students for MBBS in Nepal. Apart from the MBBS program, Manipal College of medical Science (MCOMS) also sponsors large number of postgraduate students and about five percent of Nepalese students are provided with 100% scholarship for the Nursing degree. It offers a five and a half years MBBS degree where four and a half years + one year internship program. Since many years Manipal College of medical Science (MCOMS) initiated postgraduate programs and Allied Health programs and the School of Nursing. This venture has served the college in developing Nepal’s medical status and has provided employment opportunities to a number of local people and also help to provide best education to the medical aspirates.
